The Playbacks Computer contains and controls all of the video content.
The content is sent via Propresenter to the Switcher where the content is sent to the screen. (See Switcher)
This computer has a total of 8 audio channels coming out via USB straight into our TF rack. (See TF-Rack)
Praise and Worship Cyc's are also controlled by this computer. For information relating to this, go to the Praise and Worship Cyc's page.
Before a service its important that we play and test each video to make sure its plays correctly without any issues. Somethings files can get corrupted while downloading and we dont want to find that out mid service.
Its also important to get the video times for each video playback to enter into the CG computer. There is usually 10 to 30 seconds of black at the end of each video, so we cannot get the timebased of the video time, we wil need to watch the video and audio until the end, then when the audio and vidio stops, get that exact time.
We should be testing these videos and updating the timers before any praise aand worship content is selected.
There are two main folders (Playlists) on the left hand side of ProPresenter. AM and PM
This includes Pre-roll, What's coming up, etc. Some content will stay there all the time since it doesn't change, others will need to be updated each week. Certain videos have multiple versions, some to be played during the AM only, and others during the PM. Its crucial that we have these videos organised in the correct playlist.
Praise and worship Cyc's also have their own playlist and organisation structure. See Praise and Worship section for more details.
