The main internet source is the 4G router. This device has bulit in telstra 4G and has 4 antenna's coming out the front of case 1. Two of these antenna's are for our Wifi, the other two are for the 4G. Make sure these antenna's are pointing outwards for optimal reception.
This internet is fed into our main network switch which powers all of our computers Internet including devices at FOH for Spotify.
Our Vipronet consists of three 4G services trunked into one. Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone. This internet connection is used for our living as one system and has a direct VPN into Hills campus in Sydney.
Its designed so that if one of these networks go down, it can still run on the others. So its safe to say its pretty reliable. We setup this device outside for the best reception.
There are two yellow pelican cases. In the first case is the main unit. Thismain unit has three connections that needs to be plugged in. Two are for the antenna, and the other if for the ethernet cable which also provides power.
The other case has the required cables and the antenna itself.
Power to send via PoE (Power over Ethernet), its around 47 volts. Its important to make sure the antenna cables are secure before plugging in the ethernet cable to prevent electric shock.
These cases are waterproof once closed, so a little bit of rain won't hurt them as long as they are set up coreecty.
Our Foyer TV is used for Signage and uses the resources Wifi. This Wifi doesnt normally get setup or turned on until the resources team have finished setting up their station.
Hillsong Kids have 3 tablets that they use for sign in, these devices are connected to the catering WiFi.
